Kavacham is Bellamkonda Srinivas’s action thriller with two hotties Kajal and Mehreen. The film released today amid decent promotions. Let’s see how it fared.
Kavacham Review And Rating: 2.25/5.0
Starcast: Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Kajal Aggarwal, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada
Director: Sreenivas Mamilla
Producer: Navven Chowdary Sontineni
Music Director: S. Thaman
Cinematographer: Chota K. Naidu
Story: Vijay (Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas) a sincere police officer. Life gets tough for him when saves a girl(Mehreen) from a Kidnap.
He had a past love story with Samyuktha(Kajal). She suddenly appears as part of this kidnap mystery. how all these threads connected forms the rest of the screenplay.
Analysis: Seems like Director Srinivas wrote the interval first and then weaved the remaining elements. The first half looks pale till interval with so many uninteresting dialogues and love story. Things won’t go up in the second half. There are too many sub-stories that spoiled the thriller between police and goon.
Sai- Kajal’s love story holds no romance. Just a few songs that showcased Kajal’s glamour narrated this so-called love. Srinivas- Mehreen scenes came out well.
Sai Srinivas seems to improve a little in this cop role. Yet he cannot gid rid of those loud elevations. Neil Nitin Mukesh played the antagonist. He was ok in his role.
Production values were rich and Chota’s camera work was good. Director’s debut attempt was confusing and finally landed at “OK” job. Overall, Kavacham is a routine film, happily can watch on TV or the internet.
Bottom line: Nothing Is Good Except Interval!
