Krishnarjuna Yuddham Movie Review: 3.25/5.0
Director : Merlapaka Gandhi
Producers : Sahu Garapati,Harish Peddi
Starcast : Nani,Anupama Parameswaran,Rukshar Mir
Music By : Hip-hop Tamizha
Cinematography : Karthik Ghattamaneni
Story: Krishna(Nani) is a carefree village guy with a golden heart. He falls for President’s granddaughter Riya(Ruksar Mir), who studies in Hyderabad.
On another hand, Arjun(Nani) is a rock star from the Czech Republic. He is a playboy and finally finds love in form of Indian based photographer Subbalakshmi (Anupama).
Different problems in their love stories have the girls flow to Hyderabad.Soon after they land there., they go missing. How Krishna and Arjun find their girls and what they crack in that process forms rest of the story.
Analysis: Its completely Nani and he nails Krishna character with flawless Chittore antics. His funny conversations, slang, one-liners keep the audience in splits. His Rock Star avatar didn’t go well with his body language., yet he gave a decent performance in that.
Anupama and Ruksar both looked beautiful and their acting was good too.
Short Film comedians Sudarshan and Mahesh Vitta played good roles as Krishna’s friends. Thir comedy track was a plus to KAY.Prabhas Sreenu’s comedy in the second half was ok.
Production values were decent. Musi by Hip-Hop Tamizha was good for a couple of songs. Dhaari Chudu was good to watch on screen too. I Wanna Fly stands next. Remaining were ok.
Merlapaka Gandhi’s direction was the highlight of Nani’s outstanding act. His way of weaving two love threads and mixing them in the screenplay was good. There is no confusion while traveling between two stories.
Comedy stands out in first half and action comes on board in second half. But women trafficking., the subject he took as the main plot wasn’t established properly.
All that setup and those kidnapping scenes looked average and didn’t have depth.Totally., its a decent work of Gandhi after Venkatadri Express and Express Raja.
On a final note., Nani mark entertainment is guaranteed in Krishnarjuna Yudhham too.Watch it for Chittor’s Krishna and the gang.
Bottomline: Its Nani And Entertainment Guaranteed!
