Pre Release Buzz: Padi Padi Leche Manasu hit a chord with its soulful music and romantic trailer. Youth connected to this high time and even Sharwa made a confident statement on the film’s success.
Also, the talented lead pair raised expectations on this small budget flick. Let’s see how the chemistry leads this film.
Story: The movie revolves around Surya(Sharwanand) and Vaishali(Sai Pallavi). Their love story starts in Kolkata, ends with few conflicts. Vaishali brother in law(Suneel) comes from the USA.
Where the proceedings go from then? Does Surya-Vaishali patch up? These elements form the rest of the story.
Analysis: A good love story needs unmatchable chemistry between lead characters. Padi Padi Leche Manasu got successful with that first requirement with Sarwa- Sai Pallavi. The duo nailed the love scenes. A proposing scene in the classroom stood exceptional.
Hanu Raghavapudi sure has a good taste in dealing love stories. PPLM proved it once again. The next piece of appreciation should go for beautiful visuals by cinematographer Jayakrishna Gummadi.
Another brilliance of work that shouldn’t be missed is music by Vishal Chandra Sekhar. Each song is a treat to watch on screen.
However, there is little boredom in the second half which lags the proceedings. The scenes that involved Suneel as Sai Pallavi’s brother in law comes as a break to the story. Also, little routine touch comes as a nut at places.
On the final note, barring little boredom, Padi Padi Leche Manasu is a fresh piece of cinema with loads of youthful emotions.
Bottom Line: Some Sparks, Some Boredom!
