Pre-Release Buzz

The movie faced piracy problems from the lab itself with its uncut version. Despite of these problems, Vijay managed to create buzz on this film just before release. Taxiwaala output will be known in a few hours.

Story: As per wiki., Taxiwaala story revolves around Vijay who happens to be a taxi driver. Incidentally, a ghost happens to become Vijay’s co-passenger, that ghost has few problems and how Vijay resolves them forms the basic essence.

Analysis: Taxiwala kick starts with a flash back scene in hospital. Vijay Devarkonda is as usual cool and his frustration in doing odd jobs gives us fun. Priyanka Jawalkar is beautiful and the lead pair’s love track is decent.

The ghost in the car and the flash back with Malavika Nair has created some curiosity. Some horror – comedy scenes are hilarious. Vijay also followed the same track of horror comedy.

Except the Maate Vinadugha single, Jakes Bejoy had given an average music. The climax is very lengthy. Rahul Sankrityan did a pretty decent job and keeps you engaged for the most part.

On a whole the film gives us a decent watch in theaters. First half is cool with clean comedy. Second half is little bit dragging with some emotional scenes.

Bottom line: A Decent Horror Comedy!
